There is repeated discussion about weighing the plates along with the buffet food on them to arrive at the number of pounds. No, Virginia, that does not happen. Just look at the scale with nothing on it. The weight is shown as minus .81 pounds, just under a pound being the weight of the plate. In other words, the scale is corrected for the weight of the plate. Thus if you put the plate on the scale with no food on it, the weight shown is zero.

While traveling home to NJ from Boston my (Brazillian) wife and I took an exit because it had a food symbol on the exit sign. We drove a bit and found an Italian place that looked decent..No service. We got sick of waiting, got up and drove off. Continued to blindly search for lunch and came across this GEM! The Buffet was Excellent and everything was very fresh and delicious. The Owner was so very friendly. We will make this a regular stop when we travel between NJ and Boston.

We did the buffet for 699 a pound everything was delicious from the plantains to the rice and beans the chicken and the pork and some fried fish everything tasted fresh and I definitely would visit here again. We got the pineapple cake for dessert which was amazing. If I can make one suggestion if you eat there They give you these kinds of heavy plates when they weigh your food I would suggest lighter plates I feel that adds a lot of weight to the price

This is the best place to eat authentic Brazilian food, they surprise you every day with the ever changing menu, the prices and food quality are very good, also try the avocado shake, really good! If you are in this neck of the woods, or just passing by you'll love this place, I came here in winter time and I'm going back in a few weeks, I also want to point out that this is a self service buffet and they sell the food by weight .

My brother took me here and the place is small but great! The staff is very friendly. I had coxinhas that were filled with chicken and cheese, get them with cheese!!! A week after I first came here, I wanted some of what my brother had gotten a few days before-chicken and rice. I got some salad from the self-serve buffet and it was very good. I got the spinach with purple stuff (cabbage, onions?) and added some undressed romaine lettuce that they had at the buffet as well. The purple spinach salad alone would have had too much dressing for my liking, but it's all good since I added more lettuce. I got their white rice with chicken & potatoes, which was very good. It would have been better if the chicken was boneless. A big tin of rice and chicken and a small tin of salad came to $16, which is great. That was two nicely-sized meals for me. Also, the chicken from the buffet isn't as good after it has been reheated. The leche cake was fabulous. Definitely get that for dessert!

Great little cafe in Norwalk with authentic Brazilian food. I had their chicken bossa nova with a curry-like sauce which made the whole dish very flavorful. It is self serve so you order and pay at the cashier. There is also a buffet that looked good so I will be back to try. Overall, the prices are very reasonable and the food is good. The portions are surprisingly large.
